Butte Sailing Club Membership
Thanks for considering joining our small sailing club, located at the base of beautiful Table Mountain on the Thermalito North Forebay. We welcome new members of all abilities, who wish to enjoy the fun sport of sailing.
If you are interested in sailing or want to learn, please join us. BSC is run by all volunteers and members are encouraged to take part in sailing activities, meetings, and contribute their time and talents in keeping our boats and facilities in good working order. Many of our members have been sailing for years and enjoy teaching interested members of all ages. Indeed many of our new members come through our summer sailing lessons.
The 2024 membership fees are $75.00 per person and $125 for a family membership. Please fill in the membership form and submit it to us! To pay online click below. Or to pay by check, make check out to BSC and in the memo line, write membership. Then please mail check and membership form to: Butte Sailing Club, P.O. Box 3438, Chico, CA 95927. THANK YOU!!
The Butte Sailing Club has a fleet of club owned sailboats available for members to use upon being checked out in them. Board members are available on Wet Wednesdays and on scheduled Saturdays (or arranging with someone) to help check BSC members out in the club boats. All BSC members need to read and sign a FRC Release of Liability Waiver (adults and minors) for using club boats and being in the boat yard.

- Social events: regular sailing outings, BBQ's and group events.
- Use of club boats, after check out process.
- Sail other styles of club boats other than your own to learn diverse skills.
- Racing events, practice, and pleasure sailing.
- Boat storage (members only).
- Use of golf cart for launching your boat.
- As a member YOU get to provide input on how club operates.
